Bad & BOLD is an online motorcycle fashion retailer that makes a wide range of motorcycle lifestyle accessories easily accessible for the discerning rider.
Co-founded by a husband and wife team: Matthias and Barbara Berger discovered that it was very difficult to find good looking and high-quality motorcycle clothing; t-shirts and so on that were not branded like merchandising material, in stores around Germany. So they embarked on a new adventure; an online shop which showcases fashion that demonstrates the exciting lifestyle of motorcycling.
BAD & BOLD + DRVE
Bad & BOLD has had a successful 8 years now. Matthias recalls; “At first, we started with a Google growth program for our marketing needs.” It was working well for Bad & BOLD, but had a high cost.
When Matthias was approached by DRVE, he was skeptical at first. “We are not the typical client that DRVE had had a lot of experience with, because we are a retail reseller. Our margins are completely different, we have about 1,500 different products, and it’s a niche online shop so… it’s doubly complicated to get a very good conversion rate at a very efficient cost per order, but after only a few weeks we saw that the FFWD program had increased our conversion rates by over 60% and at a lower cost!”
Matthias says the rest is history: “For Bad & BOLD working with DRVE is a fortunate opportunity. We are a reseller, we are not producing, we are dependent on what we get delivered by our suppliers. Therefore, we have to check every time if our spend is correct and adjust all the time. With DRVE we have the luxury to meet frequently to discuss which brands and on which products we can grow a little bit more.
